i've never been this far away from home

Ok. well. suppose i might write stuff about this summer? as i haven't done a fab job of sounding impressed so far.

so...having my parents away for this long is weird, but im getting used to it. which is a shame, as they're back in a week. Dave's off to Wales on Monday, so i have like 3 days on my very own. looking forward to that! i miss the days when he went away with mum and dad. although i suppose if i get the results i need, i'll have plenty of time without david or my parents (most of 4yrs in fact).

the party on tuesday was (thankfully) quite quiet, only a little on the dramatic side - as things tend to be when alcohol is involved. i couldn't really be arsed with having the thing in the first place, so totally understood that not many people stayed (and was quite grateful for that fact). i love all my friends for staying out of the kitchen. how sad is that?! but it seriously helps with the whole cleaning thing. what i REALLY didn't understand, however, was why the FUCK Dan brought sophie, kate, alex and samm to Coniston last night. why?!?!?! thought i'd seen the last of them when i dropped them off at the priory at 4 in the morning. gutted.

Consiton was fab though :) i actually swam this time - even though it was freezing. had to give in and take my trewsers off though, as they got very very heavy underwater. bless Crowe! he cannae swim! how cute is that. we missed Hannah though (hope you're reading this lady - where were you!?). i ended up having to take samm home as well, so hayley, jo, samm and i left somewhere around 10? can't remember really, but hayley was freezing to death despite the fire. oooo we had marshmallows on sticks and everything. that was funny - cuz sophie got marshmallow in her hair and couldn't get it out again. hahahahahahahahahahahahaha. i did enjoy that bit. so petty, but i so don't care. wish i'd had a camera. the boys all looked very stylish in their towels, and Jo looked adorable in her dungarees and my hoody. hahaha. bless. i like swimming. should probably do more of it, but it involves near-nakedness, which i'm not a big fan of.

so fuck knows what i'm doing today. not much by the looks of it. it's 2pm and i'm still in my pyjamas. how very lazy. hmm. might go and find something to do.
